Elisha Linder

Elisha Linder (d. 2009) was a founder of the Association for Underwater Research in Israel and helped establish the Leon Recanati Institute for Maritime Studies and the department of the Maritime Civilizations, both at the University of Haifa. Linder has directed expeditions exploring ancient harbors and shipwreck sites along Israel’s Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts.
