Gay Robins is the Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor Art History and Michael C. Carlos Museum Faculty Consultant for Ancient Egyptian Art at Emory University. Her most recent publications include Women in Ancient Egypt (1993) and The Art of Ancient Egypt (1997), both published by the British Museum and Harvard University.
