Mendel Kaplan

Mendel Kaplan (d. 2009), a lawyer by training, directed his family’s international business in steel wire products. He was the honorary president of Keren Hayesod and founded the Isaac and Jessie Kaplan Centre for Jewish Studies at the University of Cape Town. Kaplan also established the South African Jewish Museum.
