Werner Eck
Werner Eck is a Professor of Ancient History at the University of Cologne in Germany. He specializes in the history of the Roman Empire, especially the Imperial period. He is a member of the team that compiled the Corpus Inscriptionum Iudaeae/Palaestinae (CIIP). He is also coeditor of the Zeitschrift für Papyrologie und Epigraphik.
