William H. Shea

William H. Shea was a scholar at the Biblical Research Institute in Silver Spring, Maryland, from 1986 until his retirement. From 1972 to 1986 Shea taught archaeology and the Old Testament at Andrews University in Michigan. A specialist in ancient Near Eastern studies, he is the author of Daniel 1–7: Prophecy As History (Pacific Press, 1996) as well as other books.
