Nobel laureate and world-renowned author Elie Wiesel (“Korah”) is a regular contributor to BR.

David A. deSilva (“Why Did God Choose Abraham?”) is an associate professor of New Testament at Ashland Theological Seminary. His books include Perseverance in Gratitude: A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary on the Epistle “to the Hebrews” (Eerdmans, 2000).

An adjunct professor of classical archaeology at the University of Cincinnati and a senior staff archaeologist on the Megiddo excavations, Eric H. Cline (“Why Megiddo?”) holds a Ph.D. in ancient history from the University of Pennsylvania. His latest book, The Battles of Armageddon, will be published later this year by the University of Michigan Press.

Emanuel Tov (“The Book of Jeremiah: A Work in Progress”) is the J.L. Magnes Professor of Bible at Hebrew University, in Jerusalem, and editor in chief of the multivolume set Discoveries in the Judaean Desert, published by Oxford University Press.
