Scholars Will Discuss Dead Sea Scrolls
The origins of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the identification of the Qumran community will engage the attention of scholars who will gather at Mogilany, near Krakow, Poland on June 1–2, 1987. The colloquium, sponsored by the Oriental Committee of the Krakow Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, will bring together scholars from the United States and Western Europe, as well as from the Soviet Union, Poland, Rumania, and Czechoslovakia. It will feature short lectures and discussions of new theories. For more information, write to: Dr. Z. J. Kapera, Komisja Orientalistyczna PAN, ul. Slawkowska 17, 31–016 Krakow, Poland.
