Zeev Weiss (“The Sepphoris Synagogue Mosaic”) teaches at Hebrew University and directs the university’s excavation at the Galilee site. He is a co-editor of Sepphoris in Galilee: Crosscurrents of Culture (North Carolina Museum of Art, 1996). Weiss and Ehud Netzer, his predecessor as dig director, contributed “New Mosaic Art from Sepphoris,” BAR 18:06.

Suzanne Singer (“More Temple Mount Antiquities Destroyed”) serves as a contributing editor to BAR and was for many years its managing editor. She divides her time between Washington, D.C., and Jerusalem.
