July 15, 1099 A.D. Crusaders breech the walls of Jerusalem during the First Crusade.

July (30), 634 A.D. The Islamic conquests begin when Byzantine and Islamic forces fight at the Battle of Ajnadain between Jerusalem and Gaza.
