January 13, 1938 A.D. The Rockefeller Museum (originally the Palestine Archaeological Museum) in Jerusalem opens for the very first time. The museum boasts a collection of artifacts excavated in the early 20th century and is home to thousands of Dead Sea Scroll fragments.
