
Steven Collins (“Where Is Sodom? The Case for Tall el-Hammam”) is director of the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project and dean of the College of Archaeology and Biblical History at Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he also serves as curator of its ancient Near East collections. He has written extensively on the archaeology of the Bible, especially the geographical and archaeological evidence for the location of Sodom.

Peter van der Veen (“When Pharaohs Ruled Jerusalem”) is postdoctoral researcher of Biblical archaeology and visiting scholar at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germany. He is the author of several publications on the archaeology and epigraphy of ancient Israel. He is also the leader of the German Arbeitsgruppe für biblische Archäologie, which organizes annual meetings on Biblical archaeology.
