
Daniel M. Master (“Buy Low, Sell High: The Marketplace at Ashkelon”) is professor of archaeology at Wheaton College in Illinois and director of the Wheaton Archaeology Museum. Since 2007, he has been the director of field excavations for the Leon Levy Expedition to Ashkelon. He has also published the 1953–1964 excavation seasons from Tell Dothan in the West Bank.

Lawrence E. Stager (“Buy Low, Sell High: The Marketplace at Ashkelon”) is Dorot Professor of the archaeology of Israel at Harvard University and director of the Harvard Semitic Museum, as well as general editor of the museum’s publications. He has directed excavations in Cyprus, Tunisia and Israel. Since 1985, he has led the Leon Levy Expedition to Ashkelon.
