Rupert Chapman (“Samaria—Capital of Israel,”) is the former Curator of the Department of the Middle East and former librarian at The British Museum, London. He received his doctorate from the Institute of Archaeology at the University of London.

David Ben-Shlomo (“Hebron Still Jewish in Second Temple Times,”) is Associate Professor of Archaeology at Ariel University. He currently codirects excavations at Tel Hebron, Khirbet el-Mastarah and the Barkan Winepresses. He has published eight books and more than 80 articles related to the archaeology of the southern Levant.

Fredric Brandfon (“Did the Temple Menorah Come Back to Jerusalem?”), who holds a Ph.D. in archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania, has worked on several excavations in Israel. He now practices law in Los Angeles, California.
