fir tree oil

Bring oil to a high heat in a large cooking jar. (If fir tree oil is not available, use oxen fat.) Add equal parts ground dog bone, date seeds and ground donkey hoof. Stir well while the mixture returns to a boil. Remove from heat. When cool, mold mixture into a cone-shaped unguent. Place gently on the head.
