Charles D. Isbell

Charles D. Isbell is an Assistant Professor specializing in Hebrew Scripture and Judaism in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He formerly served as Director of Jewish Studies and was editor of H-JUDAIC, an electronic journal. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Women in Judaism and The Bible and Interpretation. He is the author of Corpus of the Aramaic Incantation Bowls (Wipf and Stock, 2009).
