Eliezer D. Oren

Eliezer D. Oren is a Professor Emeritus of Bible, Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Born in Israel in 1938, Oren studied archaeology and ancient history at the Hebrew University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of London, from which he received his Ph.D. He is author of The Sea Peoples and Their World: A Reassessment (University of Pennsylvania Museum Publications, 2000).
