Yochanan Muffs
Yochanan Muffs (d. 2009) was a Professor Emeritus of Bible at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. He is the author of Love and Joy: Law, Language and Religion in Ancient Israel (Belknap, 1995) and Studies in the Aramaic Legal Papyri from Elephantine (Brill, 2002).
