Jeffrey H. Tigay
Jeffrey H. Tigay is the Emeritus A.M. Ellis Professor of Hebrew and Semitic Languages and Literatures in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at the University of Pennsylvania. His research specialty is the Hebrew Bible in its ancient Near Eastern context; he has written books on Deuteronomy, Israelite religion and the Gilgamesh epic.
