Qimron did publish the results of his limited work, but, the editors of this volume tell us, his readings are suspect at a number of points. Moreover, since his readings are not annotated, it is usually impossible, at critical junctures, to be certain why he has favoured one decipherment over another, or restored a lacuna as he has done. Finally, his failure to include all the surviving fragments of a particular copy make his edition incomplete.
